The dairy free cinnamon cream cheese dip is so yummy and perfect for serving with fruit and pretzels. It’s a fun side dish to have at a party or a fun way to help your kids eat more fruit. My family loves this dip with sliced apples, and I’m sure your family will love it too. You can easily make this dip with regular cream cheese, and you’ll find it’s delicious either way. Follow the easy recipe and instructions below to make this delicious dip!

Let the dip making begin!

The steps:

  • Start by mixing the dairy free cream cheese and coconut milk with a hand mixer, in a medium sized bowl, until it’s smooth. I love the Kite Hill brand of dairy free cream cheese.
  • Next, you’ll add the rest of your ingredients: coconut sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Mix this all together with your hand mixer until smooth and creamy. It will look chunky at first, but keep mixing and it will become smooth.
  • That’s it! Enjoy with sliced apples and pretzels (GF, if needed!).
Pouring vanilla extract in a teaspoon that's about to be put into the mixing bowl.

Substitutions:

  • Regular dairy cream cheese can replace the dairy free cream cheese.
  • Dairy milk, a different milk alternative, or heavy cream can replace the coconut milk.
  • You can use brown sugar in place of the coconut sugar.
  • Honey can replace the maple syrup, but it will have a slightly different flavor.
Yellow ramekin, filled with the cinnamon dip, and a mini pretzel is partly sticking into the dip and hanging over the edge of the cup.

Recommended kitchen items:

  • Stainless steel measuring utensils. The spoons are my favorite, because they fit in spice jars. I also love using stainless steel, instead of plastic.
  • Electric hand mixer. I have had this hand mixer for about 11 years now, and it is as good as when I first got it. The snap-in storage box is really handy and keeps things tidy.
