You will want this recipe in your back pocket for the hot summer days. This watermelon lime slushie is so refreshing and so good. It’s a family favorite over here, with kids constantly asking if we can make more. Bonus, it’s super easy to make, taking approximately 5 minutes total.

Let the blending begin!
The steps:
- Make sure you have frozen watermelon ahead of time. If you do, this recipe only takes about 5 minutes to make.
- You’re going to add all of the ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth. You may have to scrape the sides of the blender here are there.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy! This recipe makes about 2 small-ish servings, so double or triple it for however many people you’re making it for.

Substitutions:
- You can use honey in place of maple syrup.
- Instead of water, you could try using coconut water.

Recommended kitchen items:
- Blendtec blender. This is one of my absolute favorite appliances in my kitchen.
- Stainless steel straw. I love how these straws are reusable, and I love how they look.

Watermelon Lime Slushie
(AIP, Paleo, Vegan, DF, GF, Nut-free, Soy-free)
Ingredients
- 2 cups watermelon chunks frozen
- 2 limes juiced
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup water
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until very smooth.
- That's it! Pour into cups and enjoy! PS doubling or tripling the recipe is a great idea 😉
