Watermelon Lime Slushie (AIP, Paleo, Vegan, Gluten free, Dairy free, Nut-free, Soy-free)

You will want this recipe in your back pocket for the hot summer days. This watermelon lime slushie is so refreshing and so good. It’s a family favorite over here, with kids constantly asking if we can make more. Bonus, it’s super easy to make, taking approximately 5 minutes total.

Let the blending begin!

The steps:

  • Make sure you have frozen watermelon ahead of time. If you do, this recipe only takes about 5 minutes to make.
  • You’re going to add all of the ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth. You may have to scrape the sides of the blender here are there.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy! This recipe makes about 2 small-ish servings, so double or triple it for however many people you’re making it for.

Substitutions:

  • You can use honey in place of maple syrup.
  • Instead of water, you could try using coconut water.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups watermelon chunks frozen
  • 2 limes juiced
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until very smooth.
  • That's it! Pour into cups and enjoy! PS doubling or tripling the recipe is a great idea 😉
